Faustino Bernadett Honors His Father While Celebrating 51 Years of Clínica Tepati

On Saturday, May 3, 2025, in Woodland, California, Dr. Faustino “Tino” Bernadett celebrated the memory of his father, Dr. Faustino Bernadett, Sr., at Clínica Tepati’s 51st Anniversary Benefit Banquet. During the event, Tino shared a heartfelt video tribute honoring his father as an early founder of the clinic and a physician devoted to serving underserved communities in Mexico and beyond.
Faustino Bernadett, Sr., M.D., was not only a respected family doctor but also a passionate teacher. As a preceptor for family medicine residents and UC Davis students, he went above and beyond, flying his own plane to teach while maintaining a busy medical practice and spending time with his family.
Tragically, his life was cut short in a plane crash on a stormy night while returning home from UC Davis. Faustino was devastated, but his legacy lives on. In recognition of Dr. Bernadett, Sr.’s contributions, the Family Medicine Medical Library at UC Davis was dedicated in his honor, a testament to his influence on generations of medical students and faculty. His legacy continues to live on through the work of Clínica Tepati and through the many lives he touched as a healer, teacher, and pioneer.
Dr. Tino Bernadett’s tribute at the 51st Anniversary Banquet served as a reminder of how one individual’s compassion and dedication can shape the future of healthcare and uplift entire communities.
